When serving glassware - glasses, wine glasses and bottles, waiters must apply the principle of “waiter-guest zone”. Glasses need to be taken only  by the leg or at base  so that there are no fingerprints left on the glass.  One-third part of glass from the base is considered as the “waiter's zone” and the rest is “Guest zone”; only the Guest has the right to touch it.

Under no circumstance should glass be taken at the top, even when you remove empty or dirty dishes from the table. Bottles also should not be taken by the neck.

When filling the glasses on the table. If your guest cannot conveniently fill the glass with his drink, you may ask him or push the dish slightly to one corner of the table and fill the glass without spilling the drink on the table.

How do your waiters do it?
